Do you want to use your professional skills to help govern and grow an innovative not-for-profit organisation?
We are a not-for-profit organisation, but unlike a traditional Charity which has a Board of Trustees, we are a Community Interest Company (CIC) and have a Board of Non-Executive Directors (NED's). This Board is run by local leaders, business owners and professionals who use their skills, experience and contacts to help us manage our rapid growth and ensure our Governance processes are followed appropriately. You can see more about the people currently sitting on our Board of Directors on our Meet The Team page, but we always looking for senior professionals who would like to volunteer their time and effort to help us, whether as a full statutory Director, or as a member of our Advisory Board on a more ad-hoc informal basis.
Do you want to make a difference in the life of a young person trying to find their feet and launch their career?
We develop close relationships with a range of different local individuals and organisations to run our development programmes, and try to provide a range of opportunities for them to work with professionals and benefit from their skills. Whether that be through a careers talk, sitting in on a development session to pass on some of your technical skills, providing shadowing / work experience opportunities, or even helping our management team by donating some of your professional skills to help us run the business side of things. There are a number of ways you could volunteer with us, so if you would like to get involved please do get in touch.
